Based on the popular new book, The Practical Visionary: A New World Guide to Spiritual Growth and Social Change, these interactive trainings will create a deep sense of community and support among participants, and include new material, as well as dialogues, small group work, meditations and experiential techniques.  Gordon Davidson, CVL co-founder, will be a guest lecturer at the training.

Corinne McLaughlin has trained hundreds of leaders, from federal government managers to business and non-profit executives to young activists. She is co-author of The Practical Visionary, Spiritual Politics (Foreword by the Dalai Lama), and Builders of the Dawn and is co-founder of The Center for Visionary Leadership in CA and NC.  She coordinated a national task force for President Clinton’s Council on Sustainable Development and is a Fellow of The World Business Academy, the Findhorn Foundation, and the Transformation Leadership Council.  She is also a co-founder of Sirius Community, a spiritual/environmental center in Massachusetts, and taught politics at American University.

FACULTY
 

Corinne McLaughlin and Gordon Davidson are co-founders of several successful businesses and non-profit organizations, and are co-authors of The Practical Visionary, Spiritual Politics (Foreword by the Dalai Lama), and Builders of the Dawn.  They are co-founders of The Center for Visionary Leadership, based in Washington, D.C. and the San Francisco area, and co-founders of Sirius, an ecological village and spiritual community in Massachusetts.  Corinne coordinated a national task force for President Clinton’s Council on Sustainable Development. Gordon was formerly the Executive Director of the Social Investment Forum and of The Center for Environmentally Responsible Economies. They both have served on the adjunct faculty of The American University and the University of Massachusetts, and are Fellows of The World Business Academy and The Findhorn Foundation. They have consulted with a wide variety of clients in business, government and the non-profit community, and hav etaught courses on spiritual development and social change around the U.S. and Europe for over 25 years.
