GORDON
DAVIDSON
Gordon Davidson has been
teaching seminars, leading retreats, advising leaders, and counseling
people and in the U.S. and around the world on spiritual and
psychological issues for over 30 years. He has practiced, integrated,
and taught numerous systems of meditation, and has been a meditation
practitioner for over 37 years. He has also intensively studied and
integrated core insights from the ageless wisdom traditions of the
world, including Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Theosophical, New Thought
and various other spiritual traditions to distill and teach essential
liberating truths about human nature and life.
Gordon is also a
student of western psychology, integrating the latest research on
personal and transpersonal transformation into his work. Gordon holds
a Ministers license, and has applied spiritual principles and
techniques to his own growth process. In addition to the above
sources, Gordon’s meditative and life experiences have revealed unique
understandings and states of consciousness. Gordon’s intensive quest
for useable truths has led him to study in Asia, Europe and the United
States.
Gordon has been
with his wife and life partner, Corinne McLaughlin, for 33 years.
Together they co-founded the Center for Visionary Leadership based in
California and North Carolina, as well as Sirius, a spiritual and
ecological community in Massachusetts. He is the co-author of three
books on the application of spiritual principles to human living. He
also served as the founding Executive Director of the Social
Investment Forum, and the CERES Coalition. He is currently a fellow of
the Findhorn Foundation and the World Business Academy.
