Read through this meditation first, and then take yourself
on an inner meditative journey, using your own imagery:
Take a few deep breaths to relax, breathing in peace and
stillness,
exhaling any tensions or worries….
Focus in your heart….breathing in the quality of universal
love...
Align with your higher self or soul…
Now imagine that you are standing at the foot of the Statue of
Liberty in the New York harbor….
See her holding aloft a torch of light, with a book of wisdom
in her other arm, welcoming all those who are “yearning to breathe free…”
See this inspirational statue as a symbol of the soul of
America….
Now imagine yourself entering the statue, and slowly climbing
the spiral staircase that leads up to her crown….
As you reach the crown of the statue (symbolic of the crown
chakra), there is a platform to stand on and look out at the beautiful view
for miles all around…
As you look out across the land from this expanded view, you
can see events in the life of this nation in a larger context, and in a longer
time frame….
What lessons is America learning at this time?
Take a few minutes and see what you observe…
Now ask for new insights into the soul of America…
Give thanks for the many blessings constantly showered upon our
nation….
See America aligning with her higher purpose and truly serving
the greatest good of all ….
Now visualize sending out rays of light and love to all the
people of America, seeing the nation healed and reunited in common purpose….
Now visualize light and love radiating out to all the people of
the world, affirming ourselves as one human family…
Then slowly as you are ready, leave the platform where you are
standing, remembering all that you’ve experienced, and slowly begin to descend
the stairs of the statue back to the ground floor…
When you are ready, slowly open your eyes, and write down any
insights you’ve received.
