Meditation on Love
© 2005
Corinne McLaughlin

Spend time in silent meditation, listening to your heart and its
wisdom:
Remember a past experience of unconditional, universal love,
and allow the energy and magic of that memory to fill you.
Visualize a fountain of love within your heart, pouring
forth healing waters to nurture and support you.
Now focus on loving yourself, as you cannot love others if
you don’t love yourself.
Meditate on forgiving yourself and others for any harm they
have done you; invoke the fire of forgiveness to burn away the past.
Send love to everyone in your life whom you appreciate.
Reflect deeply on the significance and meaning of love: its
origin, its expression, its qualities, its goal.
End by meditating on love as the consciousness of God.
